This Privacy Policy explains how Danda Jatra ("we", "us", or "our"), available at https://parbani.online/ and through our Android mobile application, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our services.

By using the app or website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Who we are

Danda Jatra (also known as Parbani) provides cultural, religious, festival, temple, panchang, music, wallpaper, store, and community information related to Danda Jatra and related events.

2. No user accounts

Our app does not require you to create a login account with a username and password. You can use the app without signing in. Some optional features ask you to share personal details so we can provide that feature.

3. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide voluntarily and some technical identifiers needed for app features.

3.1 Information you provide

• Profile details — photo, name, address, WhatsApp number, contact number, and Rashi (zodiac sign), when you complete or edit your profile.
• Contact messages — name, mobile number, address, and message/suggestion when you use Contact Us.
• Guest / request forms — name, WhatsApp number, email, village name, address, and request details when you submit event, festival, or village temple requests.
• Store / orders — name, phone, delivery address (house, street, landmark, city, district, state, pincode), order notes, product reviews, and order history. Payments in the app are typically cash on delivery; we do not collect card or UPI password details in the app.
• Custom posts — name and photo when you create a personalized shareable post.

3.2 Device and technical information

• Device or other IDs — such as Android ID, used to associate your profile, store cart/orders, and custom posts with your device (because there is no login account).
• Push notification identifiers — used by our notification provider (OneSignal) so we can send you updates if you allow notifications.
• App usage related to features — for example, wallpaper download counts or whether a customized post was shared, where needed for app functionality.

3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

• Precise GPS location
• Your phone contacts list
• SMS or email inbox contents
• Biometric login data
• Credit/debit card numbers for online payment processing inside the app

4. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Provide app features (profile, store orders, custom posts, requests, contact replies)
• Show your details in our admin tools so our team can manage User Reports, orders, and support
• Send important app notifications (if you grant notification permission)
• Improve content, festivals, temples, and community services
• Prevent spam/abuse (for example, captcha on some forms)
• Comply with legal obligations if required

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we share information

We may share data only as needed to operate the service:

• Our servers — data is stored and processed on our backend at https://parbani.online/ so the app and Admin Portal / Admin Android App can manage User Reports and related requests.
• OneSignal — used for push notifications. OneSignal may process device/push identifiers according to their own privacy policy.
• Service providers / hosting — infrastructure needed to host the website and API securely.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including support, order history, and community requests, unless a longer period is required by law. When you request deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data we hold about you, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

7. Data deletion requests

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by:

• Using Contact Us in the app and writing that you want your data deleted, or
• Emailing dandayatrabyparbani@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request, and including your name, phone/WhatsApp number, and any other details that help us find your records.

We aim to process valid deletion requests within 30 days. After deletion, related profile photos and personal fields stored on our servers will be removed from our systems where reasonably possible.

You can also clear optional profile data stored on your own phone by editing/clearing profile information in the app or uninstalling the app (local device data).

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. User data sent between the app and our servers is transmitted using HTTPS (encryption in transit). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Your choices

• You may skip profile setup and still use many parts of the app.
• You may decline notification permission; you will still be able to use the app without push alerts.
• You may choose not to submit contact forms, store orders, or community requests.
• You may request access to or deletion of your data using the contact methods above.

11. Third-party links and content

The app may show links, live videos, or content from third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app and on our website with a revised effective or version date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
